Major General P.S. Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps assumed duties as the 51st Director General General Staff of the Sri Lanka Army on 06 May 2026 during a formal ceremony held at the General Staff Branch - Army Headquarters.
Amidst religious blessings, the DGGS symbolically signed the official document to signify the formal acceptance of his new office. The Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the ceremony.
