Director General CSD Shares Views with the Commander

The recently-appointed Director General of the Civil Security Department (CSD) Mr Chandrarathne Pallegama Friday (5) morning, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva at the Army Headquarters.

During the course of cordial discussions, the Commander spoke high of the contributions that have been made by CSD personnel in the past 15-20 years in the country’s search for peace.

Mr  Pallegama spelt out  how he plans to improve the professional standards of CSD personnel in the future with the new visionary concept of HE the President as the country marches forward towards prosperity.

Mr Pallegama assuring the CSD’s continued support and close interaction with the Army for future assignments, presented a memento to the Commander, symbolic of the CSD’s goodwill towards the Sri Lanka Army. The gesture was reciprocated by the Commander.

On arrival at the Commander’s Secretariat, Mr Pallegama was received by Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Military Secretary. Before the conclusion of the meeting, Mr Pallegama was invited to leave his signature in the VIP visitors’ book at the Commander’s office.
