DGGS Designated as an Honorary Advisory Member in PUAC Sri Lanka Branch

The Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (PUAC) Sri Lanka branch-organized 'Peace, Security and Public Diplomacy' seminar for Military Officers and Sri Lanka Police got underway at Galadari Hotel on 19 December.

HE Miyeon Lee, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Representing the Sri Lanka Army, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Director General General Staff and Major General M.T.I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commandant at Sri Lanka Military Academy participated in the seminar and Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc conducted comprehensive presentations on the topic 'Nexus between Sri Lanka and the Republic of Korea in the Indo Pacific Oceans: The Context of Fifth-Generation Warfare'.

During a distinctive segment of the seminar, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc was honoured by designating him as an honorary advisory member of the PUAC Sri Lanka Branch.

The officials of the PUAC, Retired Senior Military Officers and officials of the Sri Lanka Police were among attendees in the seminar.
