Defence Attaches of Seven High Commissions/Embassies Meet Commander Security Forces - Jaffna

A combined delegation of Defence Attaches from Colombo-based High Commissions and Embassies of Australia, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Pakistan, Russia and the US during a tour to Jaffna called at the Security Force HQ - Jaffna and had a cordial meeting with Major General Senarath Bandara, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna on Sunday (13) in order to receive an update on COVID-19 developments, general security matters and civil-military projects, being carried out by the Security Forces in the peninsula.

Major General Bandara during the interactive meeting presented an overall picture of the status quo regarding detection of infected cases, security arrangements, community projects, contribution towards public infrastructure development, civil-military cooperation events, nation-building tasks, etc with special focus on house construction for the deserving and so on.
