COVID-19 Death Toll Stands at 435- NOCPCO

As of this morning (21), a total of 543 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 15 Sri Lankan expatriates and 528 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 180 from Colombo district, 116 from Gampaha district, 39 from both Puttalam and Rathnapura districts and 154 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (21), a total of 79,479 persons, inclusive of 75,910 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 73,455 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 5,589 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 890 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 2 more deaths have been reported from Kuruwita and Thihariya areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 435 by this morning (21).

As of this morning (21), 9,486 persons in 96 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (20), 15,892 PCR tests have been conducted.Adidas shoes | Nike Shoes
