COVID-19 Death Toll in the Country Rose to 544 - NOCPCO

As of this morning (20), a total of 322 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID -19 in the past 24 hours. 24 Sri Lankan expatriates and 298 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 66 from Gamapaha district, 36 from Colombo district, 39 from Rathnapura district and 157 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (20), a total of 89,496 persons, inclusive of 85,444 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 86,226 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 2,726 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 283 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. Six more deaths have been reported from In Silawathura, Ganemulla, Aattala, Piatakotte, Suduhumpola and Polgahawela Areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 544 by this morning (20).

As of this morning (20), 10,237 persons in 100 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (19) 1,178 PCR tests have been conducted. Adidas footwear | New Releases Nike
