The Sri Lanka Army Para Athlete, Corporal H.G Palitha Bandara who brought honour and admiration by winning the Silver medal in the para discus throw event in the Commonwealth Games tournament, returned to the island on Monday (8) to be received warmly at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
The Para Athlete, Corporal Palitha Bandara of Sri Lanka Army National Guard (SLNG) won the Silver medal in the Discus Throw F42-44/61-64 category recording a distance of 44.20 m in the Commonwealth Games - 2022.
