Cornerstone for New Officers' Mess Laid

Major General Prasad Samarasingha, Chief of Staff laid the cornerstone for cornerstone of the new Officers’ Mess at Security Force Headquartes Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), amid blessings of the Maha Sangha of Lumbini Temple, Kilinochchi on Thursday (31).

At the invitation of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, Major General Samarasingha attended the ceremony for laying of the foundation stone during his visit to the SFHQ-KLN.

During the same programme, the Chief Guest planted a tree sapling to symbolically signify the memory of his visit to the SFHQ-KLN.

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of all Divisions, Brigade Commanders of Brigades, Staff Officers and other ranks serving the SFHQ also attended the occasion.
