Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Monday (4) during a brief ceremony inaugurated the construction of a much-needed officers’ mess building, instead of the existing old one.
Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W at the auspicious 6.55 a.m. laid the foundation-stone for the construction, amidst blessings of ‘Seth Pirirth’ of the Maha Sangha.
After a brief address to the occasion by Security Force Commander-Wanni, all those present joined together for refreshments, inclusive of traditional milk rice and sweetmeats.
