Distribution of compost bins among the families of Other Ranks, resident at Kendalanda Army Housing Complex took place on Friday (28) during a brief ceremony.
With the coordination of the Security Forces Headquarters-West (SFHQ-W), Provincial Minister Mr Udaya Gammanpila attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
100 compost bins for management of waste and garbage among those families were distributed at the occasion.
Senior Officers of the SFHQ-W, resident ORs, family members and several state officials attended the ceremony.
