Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku after his assumption of office as Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, paid his first field visit to the 52 Division Headquarters on Friday (25).
The visiting Security Forces Commander was warmly welcomed by Major General Harendra Peris, General Officer Commanding, 52 Division on his arrival. He was invited to plant a sapling to mark his visit to the location. The General Officer Commanding conducted a comprehensive briefing on the 52 Division’s area of responsibility. The Security Forces Commander addressed the Commanding Officers and troops of the 52 Division.
In the meantime, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku visited the Recruit Training School in 52 Division area and 7 (V) Gajaba Regiment camp.
Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and troops of the 52 Division participated in the event.
