Commander Security Forces - Central Visits Under Command Battalion

Major General Kumara Jayapathirana, Commander, Security Forces - Central made an official visit to the 8 Battalion, Corps of Military Intelligence in Welimada on Wednesday (13) after he assumed office as the Commander, SF-Central.

The Commanding Officer, Major P.N.D Kapugama received the Commander, Security Forces - Central in a warm welcome in keeping with Army traditions on arrival before a briefing explained him the role and tasks of his unit.

Major General Kumara Jayapathirana was also invited to plant a Mango sapling inside the camp premises before the proceedings reached culmination.
