Commander Security Forces - Central Makes Field Visits after Assuming His Office

Major General Kumara Jayapathirana, the newly-appointed Commander Security Forces - Central formally visited the 12 Division and its under command formations respectively on Monday (2) after his recent assumption of office.

The visiting Commander Security Forces Central was warmly welcomed by Major General Hemantha Bandara, General Officer Commanding of the 12 Division where he briefed about the operation deployment of HQs in his area.

Thereafter, he visited 122 Brigade area and was welcomed by Colonel Janaka Pallekumbura, Commander 122 Brigade and Major H.M.L.B Samarakoon, Commanding Officer, 3 Sri Lanka National Guard. During the visit, the Commander Security Forces - Central inspected accommodation and roadblock duties of the troops and also their health security.
