Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army Sunday (25) evening paid homage to the most sacred Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kandy and fulfilled a religious vow he made to the sacred place during the 64th Army anniversary in October last year.
In accordance with the religious vow, he offered a golden necklace to the pinnacle that contains relics and invoked blessings on the Army’s forward march.
