Commander Initiates Renovations to Married/Residential Quarters of All Ranks

To be in keeping with the Commander's determined aspiration to get the best of the best for Army personnel in order to make them the happiest community in the country, troops of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) are engaged in carrying out a series of repairs, renovations and constructions in residential quarter’s complexes of All Ranks in Kendalanda, Pitipana and Pagoda areas in order to give a new facelift to all buildings with the objective of further enhancing their living standards and providing best facilities.

At first, the troops re-did the repairs to the road network inside Kendalanda and Pitipana complexes before repairs began where Other Ranks and Commissioned Officers are residing. Another group of CES soldiers are currently attending to the repairs at the Other Ranks' married quarters at Pagoda. These repairs were made possible thanks to the allocations made by the Commander's fund considering the importance of the project.

Few officers, including Brigadier Mahesh Abeyratne, Brigadier Admin and Quartering at the Security Force HQ - West, project officer, and officer commanding of the CES visited those sites under repair recently and reviewed the progress of the projects. jordan Sneakers | Nike Off-White
