Commander Field Engineer Brigade Visits 9 Field Engineers

The Commander of Field Engineer Brigade, Brigadier Dumidu Jayasinghe made his first formal visit to the 9 Field Engineer Regiment located at Kokavil, Kilinochchi on 05 March 2021. The Brigade Commander was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, 9 Field SLE, Major G.A.D Alwis on his arrival and afterwards, briefed the deployment of troops in the area and capabilities of the unit.

During the visit, the Brigade Commander addressed All Sappers and emphasized on training, wellbeing and the importance of unity among all troops. The visit was followed by planting of a sapling, visit to the camp premises. All ranks tea and lunch concluded the day's visit at the Officers’ Mess. url clone | M2k Tekno
