Commander Appreciates Major General Kasthuriarachchi's Services

Major General L.F Kasthuriarachchi of Sri Lanka Artillery on the eve of his retirement after completion of more than three-decade of exemplary service to the Army and the country alike paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva on Thursday (28) at the Army HQ in Sri Jayawardenepura.

During the cordial interaction, the Commander of the Army reminisced about memories and shared views with the outgoing Senior Officer on his future plans and other endeavours, etc.

Towards the end of the interaction, the Commander symbolized his appreciation and presented a special memento to the outgoing Major General Kasthuriarachchi who is currently holding the appointment of Deputy Commandant at Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF). The recipient also thanked the Commander of the Army for his appreciation upon receipt of the memento.
