A group of clergy, touring Kilinochchi area including Colombo Bishop called on at the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) at the invitation of Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-KLN.
During the meet, Major General Perera outlined the series of multiple development roles, being conducted in the province by the troops for promotion of living conditions of the civilians to the visiting members of the clergy. Discussions were assisted by General Officers Commanding in respective 57, 58, 65, 66 Divisions and Commander, Forward Maintenance Area under the SFHQ-KLN. Mr N.P Daluwatte, Senior Superintendant of Police for Kilinochchi, too took part in the friendly meeting at the SFHQ-KLN.
The visiting group of clergies, comprised of His Eminence Dr. Malcolm Ranjith, Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ponniah, Rt. Rev. Dr. Nobert Andradi, Rt. Rev. Dr. Winston Fernando, Rt. Rev. Dr. Valence Mendis, Rt. Rev. Dr. T. Savundaranayagam, Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Vianney Fernando, Rt. Rev. Dr. Harold Anthony perera, Rt. Rev. Dr. Raymond Wickremasinghe, Rt. Rev.
