NORTH: TROOPS during their search and clear operations in the general areas of KUDANTHANE, ARANTHANKULAM, KILINOCHCHI, ADAMPAN, PALEKADU, NALLUR and ALAMPIL on Tuesday (19) recovered four claymore mines, two claymore stands, twenty anti personnel mines (APMs), one 81 mm mortar trapping, three hundred and twelve rounds of Multi Purpose Machine Gun (MPMG) ammunition, three hundred and forty-nine rounds of T-56 ammunition, twelve hand grenades, two Rocket Propeller grenades (RPG), one 5.56 weapon, three silencer weapons and four USA made smoothbore weapons.
