Chief of Staff Visits SLAOC Factory at Dombagoda

Major General Vikum Liyanage, Chief of Staff recently conducted an inspection tour on the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) Factory at Dombagoda in order to receive an update on its functional aspects.

The Chief of Staff on arrival was greeted to a drive past Guard Turnout before he was welcomed by Brigadier Indrajith Vithanachchi, Director, Directorate of Ordnance Services at the Army Headquarters, together with Brigadier Ajith Munasinghe, Centre Commandant, SLAOC Factory.

During the visit, the Chief of Staff had a close look at the Tyre Retreading Section and made inquiries into different facets of its process. He also expressed appreciation of the technical know-how of the technicians working there and commended their contribution to raise standards.
