The new Commander Security Forces – Central, Major General Samantha Silva called on Most Venerable Maha Nayake Theros of Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters at their monasteries after observances at the sacred Temple of the Tooth on Sunday ( 24).
Afterwards, he visited the Army Hospital under construction in Pallekele and the adjacent 11 Division HQ before he paid courtesies to the Governor for Central Province in his Office.
Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, General Officer Commanding 11 Division, Brigadier T.M.R.B Rathnayake, Commander 111 Brigade and a few senior officers were associated with these visits.
