CDS Visits Headquarters to Learn New Army Roles in the East

In order to get an update on development work and security arrangements in the eastern province, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetilleke, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) recently visited the Security Forces Headquarters, East and met a cross section of senior offices serving the east.

Major General S.A.A.L Perera after welcoming the visiting CDS briefed him on various development projects and other humanitarian services being carried out by the eastern headquarters in cooperation with other state and non-governmental agencies.
