The graduation ceremony of the Long Gunners Staff Course (LGSC) of the School of Artillery at Minneriya took place recently under the aegis of Brigadier D.A.R Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding, 56 Division as the Chief Guest.
The course, meant for other ranks was pursued by 17 Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Senior NCOs. The Chief Guest awarded mementos to those who did well during the course.
Meanwhile, Brigadier N.D. Wanniarachchi, Commander Artillery Brigade was the Chief Guest during the graduation ceremony of the LGSC course – No 8 in the first week of December.
11 assistant gunners, who followed the course, received their trophies and merit awards from the Chief Guest during that graduation ceremony.
