A sudden bush fire that occurred in the Wendesiwattha in Doluwa and Pupuressa areas was brought under control by 111 Brigade troops of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-Central on Thursday (1).
Under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 11 Division and Brigadier Rohitha Rathnayake, Brigade Commander of 111 Brigade, 10 GR troops took prompt action to douse the fast spreading fire with difficulty.
