An eye clinic was conducted at Periyapandivirichchan village in 61 Division area recently, in order to provide the services of qualified doctors and opticians to the newly resettled civilian population in the area.
The clinic organized under the guidance of Brigadier A. Kariyakarawana General Officer Commanding 61 Division was conducted throughout the day (30th September) by well-known opticians, Vision Care Optical Services (Pvt) Ltd with the participation of 5 doctors. 277 patients were benefited from this clinic at which 150 persons received spectacles free of charge.
