The Sri Lanka Army Sports Club competing in 'The Sri Lanka Rugby Inter Club Rugby League - 2022' at Havelock Park on Friday (4) registered their first win against their rivalry, Navy team having beaten them by 18 points.
'Soldiers Vs Sailors’ the Inter Club Rugby encounter showed colours of both teams in the first half but the Army Scored their two tries keeping the Navy at bay.
After the first half, the Army's Private Madushan Hettiarachchi put over two penalties and secured the fort. Afterwards, the Army players scored their two tries.
