Covering more and more areas, Army musicians with the objective of challenging boredom and providing mental relaxation to the public who are home-confined due to prevailing COVID-19 epidemic threat and curfew hours during Monday (6) staged a few more mobile singing sessions near storied flats and apartments in Narahenpita, Hilton Residencies and Maligawatta areas.
Members of the Army Beat Group on the guidelines given by Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID -19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army showcased their musical talents during the arrangements to the cheers of those occupants.
Civilians from their balconies were seen waving hands and clapping the artists who were there to entertain them at this critical hour of our society.
