Army-managed Niraviya Farm Takes to Broiler Chicken Industry

Troops of the Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock (CAL) in an attempt to add its weight to the nutrition industry and meat production for the organizational consumption on Wednesday (3) commenced its broiler chicken project with 6,000 chicks at the Army-run Niraviya Farm as the first stage of the project.

LG Farm Private Ltd, a well-known poultry farm company in Minneriya has provided all the chicks, consultations and all other instructional assistance for this initial project in a move to support the Army initiative.
