Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) facilitated the distribution of 250 dry ration packets among resettled families in Veheratenna, Vavuniya on Saturday (6).
Each packet consisted of rice, dhal, potatoes, salt, soya meat, sugar, tea, manioc yams, flour, garlic, chili powder, curry powder, turmeric powder, etc.
The social service organization, ‘Sath Sith’ sponsored the donation and the event was headed by Ven. Jinawansa Thero, Ven. Hapuwalane Gnanaseela Thero, Ven. Dikpitiye Senananda Thero, Brigadier K.G.D Perera, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division, several Brigade Commanders and senior officers.
