‘Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama’ once again went to Kilinochchi area recently and distributed a large stock of school bags and other educational accessories among Tamil students at Kilinochchi Ambalnagar Tamil Maha Vidyalaya.
This organization with the coordination of the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, earlier too organized such donations to school children in Wanni and other Northern areas.
Those 200 gift parcels included pens, pencils, school bags, books and other accessories. In addition, each student was gifted with a voucher to the value of Rs 1000/= for purchase of shoes from a shop at Kilinochchi area.
57 Division General Officer Commanding, 571 Brigade Commander, 25 (v) Gajaba Regiment Officer Commanding, principals, teachers and students took part in the brief ceremony.
