Army Beat Group Entertains Residents in Havelock Town in Morning Hours

With the objective of challenging boredom and providing mental relaxation to the public who are home-confined due to prevailing COVID-19 epidemic threat and curfew hours, the Army Beat Group on the guidelines given by Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID -19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army staged a mobile musical entertainment this morning (5) around Havelock city apartments in Havelock town, Colombo 5.

Vocalists, Bhathiya, Santhush and Umariya Sinhawansa also joined the Army band and rent the air with their popular hits. Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva arrived unannounced at the location and encouraged the arrangement.
