Army 'Searchlight Tattoo' Extended by One More Day

The Army ‘Searchlight Tattoo’, now on at Welagedara Grounds at Kurunegala, has been extended by one more day, enabling school children in the area to watch it.   

The ‘Searchlight Tattoo’ were to end on Sunday (27) but due to popular demand it was extended by another day on the direction of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake.

Meanwhile, Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake went to see the ‘Searchlight Tattoo’ on Saturday (26).

The ‘Searchlight Tattoo’ was opened by several prominent North Western Province based politicians including messrs Mr Tissa R Balalla (Governor), S.B Navinna and Dayasiri Jayasekara (Chief Minister).

Chief of Staff, Major General Crishantha De Silva, Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General E.P de Z Abeysekara, Adjutant General, Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Master General Ordnance, Major General L.B.R Mark and Provost Marshal, Major General E.K.J.K Wijayasiri also attended the Army ‘Searchlight Tattoo’.
