9 GR Builds a New House for a Needy Family

Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, a newly constructed house was vested in a family in Moanarawewa, Welioya on 5 August 2024.

Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander of Security Force (Wanni) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The workforce assistance to construct this house was given by troops of the 9 Gajaba Regiment with the sponsorship provided by Mr. Asitha Dhanawalavithana, Regional Manager of People’s Bank.

General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
