735 more persons confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours - NOCPCO

As of this morning (6), a total of 735 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them 6are expatriates and others are locally-identified ones, including the majority 158 from Colombo district, 105 from Badulla district, 94 from Kandy district and 372 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (6), a total of 67,849 persons, inclusive of 63,854 of the fish market have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 61,460 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 6,046 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

In the past 24 hours, 894 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 4 more deaths have been reported from Colombo 3, Nawala, Bagawanthalawa and Mattakkuliya, areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 343 by this morning (6).

As of this morning (6), 7,941persons in 89 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (5), 12,024 PCR tests have been conducted. Nike shoes | NIKE HOMME
