7 SLSC Troops Bid Goodbye to Retiring Chief Signal Officer

7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps Regiment bade farewell to the retiring Chief Signal Officer Major General Adeepa Thilakarathna at the 7SLSC Regiment Headquarters on Friday (22).

The outgoing Chief Signal Officer in conformity with military traditions was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel M.R Hameem and accorded a Guard Turnout on his arrival at the main entrance.

Subsequently, Major General Adeepa Thilakarathna addressing all troops emphasized that all signallers need to harness professionalism whilst preserving highest standards of discipline during their career. At the end of his address, the Commanding Officer presented a memento in appreciating his exemplary service rendered during his military career.

Later, the retiring Chief Signal Officer joined for an all rank tea where he shared his thoughts with Officers and Other Ranks and finally he left a couple of thoughts and compliments in the Unit's Visitors’ Book.
