66 Division troops in Pooneryn in one more community project, launched with sponsorship from the ‘Nenasaviya’ charity organization at University of Colombo distributed school accessories among 70 students in seven remote schools in Pooneryn area on Saturday (13) after gathering students to the Pooneryn Central College.
General Officer Commanding (GOC), 66 Division Major General Ajith Dissanayake graced the distribution ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The programme was coordinated by 661 Brigade troops on the directions of Brigadier Shantha Hewage, 661 Brigade Commander.
