Troops of 62 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) took part in offer of alms to 50 monks and provided a delicious lunch to 75 pregnant mothers and 500 villagers at the 622 Brigade Headquarters premises on Saturday (26).
Mr. Ranjith Rathnayake and Mrs. Seetha Nishshanka from Sadalankawa gave financial assistance to this event at the request of the Commander, 622 Brigade.
Colonel H.M.N.N Herath, Commander, 621 Brigade and Brigade Major, 622 Brigade encouraged the troops to conduct this event. Officers and Other Ranks serving this area of responsibility were present at the event.
