6,194 Positive Cases Still under Treatment-NOCPCO

As of this morning (4), a total of 711 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them are locally-identified ones, including the majority 236 from Colombo district, 93 from Gampaha district, 74 from Kurunegala district and 251 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (4), a total of 66,408 persons, inclusive of 62,421 of the fish market have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 59,882 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 6,194 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

In the past 24 hours, 840 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 4 more deaths have been reported from Yatiyantota, Dewalapola, Walgammulla, and Negombo areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 332 by this morning (4).

As of this morning (4), 7,400 persons in 91 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (3), 13,218 PCR tests have been conducted. jordan release date | Nike SB
