The newly-appointed General Officer Commanding - 61 Division, Major General R.K.B.S. Ketakumbura assumed duties as the 11th General Officer Commanding on Monday (15).
On his arrival at the Headquarters 61 Division, Major General Ketakumbura was greeted to a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour in conformity with military formalities.
Later, he planted a sapling on the camp premises to mark the assumption of office as the new General Officer Commanding of 61 Division.
