6 Sri Lanka Artillery (6 SLA) troops of the 141 Infantry Brigade of the 14 Division under the Security Force HQ - West voluntarily joined a blood donation project, launched by York International School, Kadawatha on Sunday (22) at the school premises.
At the request of school authorities, two Officers and 28 Other Ranks willingly joined the community programme under the guidance of Lieutenant Colonel A.H.M.T Gunarathne, Commanding Officer, 6 SLA and Brigadier Bandula Kariyawasam, Commander, 141 Infantry Brigade on the guidelines given by Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander, Security Forces - West.
