Troops of the 5 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under command to the 593 Brigade of the 59 Division of the Security Forces - Mullaittivu cleaned and re-did the road patch between Ottiyamalei and Nochchikulam on 15 September.
This project was initiated under the directions of the Commander, Security Forces- Mullaittivu, Major General Jagath Rathnayake.
Major General Priyantha Perera, General Officer Commanding, 59 Division and Brigadier Wasantha Palamkubura, Commander, 593 Brigade coordinated the programme.
