MULLAITTIVU: A 55-FEET long Tiger (LTTE) suicide boat, laden with some 1500 kg of high explosives was uncovered by 53 Division troops, commanded by Major General KAMAL GUNERATHNE from KARAYANMULLIVAIKKAL area when the troops were moving deeper into the beach side Wednesday (13) afternoon.
The suicide boat, plastered with claymore mines around its hull has been kept hidden under bushes by the side of the beach at the time troops traced it. It is believed Tiger terrorists, intending a fierce assault on the troops at any given time had shrouded it inside creepers and bushes.
