Over 1000 officers and soldiers serving the 54 Division in Mannar flocked together during three days (Dec 17, 18, 19) separately in their respective Brigade Headquarters, in order to listen to a series of lectures on Japanese 5S Concept, organized by the Secretariat for Promotion of National Productivity in coordination with Mrs Thilaka Jayasundara, Directress, Secretariat for Promotion of National Productivity.
All those attendees in the seminar received literature and CDs on the 5S Concept which will help them in their career in the future.
Major General M.H.S.B Perera, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters at the invitation of Brigadier M.A.M Dias, General Officer Commanding, 54 Division attended the inaugural occasion of the three-day arrangement.
The programme, coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel A.K.S.A Ariyan, Civil Affairs Coordinator, 54 Division was a success and lectured by a five-member team of the Secretariat for Promotion of National Productivity.
