53,749 Persons Confirmed Positive So Far-NOCPCO

As of this morning (19), a total of 674 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, were 47 Sri Lankan expatriates and other 627 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 197 from Colombo district, 165 from Gampaha district, 54 from Kurunegala district and 211 from different other districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (19), a total of 53,749 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 45,819 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,660 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (19), 649 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. Six more deaths have been reported from Kalutara, Colombo-15, Modera, Colombo -3, Dehiwala, and Ratnapura areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 270 by this morning (19).

By this morning (19), the flight EY 264 from Saudi Arabia with 33 passengers, the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 22 passengers and MU 713 from China with 39 passengers have arrived.

The flight UL 218 from Qatar with 84 passengers, the flight AI 273 from India with 25 passengers, the flight PQ 555 from Ukraine with 105 passengers and EK 648 from Saudi Arabia with 75 passengers and the flight SQ 468 from Singapore with 23 passengers are expected to arrive here within the day. They all were/were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (19), 8198 persons in 92 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (18), 14,984 PCR tests have been conducted. jordan Sneakers | Nike
