50 Needy Students Get School Accessories Thru 64 Division's Coordination

Following an initiative, extended by the Year 2002 Old Boys of Colombo Royal College including Mr Prasad Lokusooriya, together with Old Graduates' Association of Sri Jayawardanapura Univesity, Major General Manjula Karunarathne, GOC 64 Division with guidance given by Major General Jagath Rathnayake, Commander Security Forces -Mullaittivu gave away stationary, books and school accessories to 50 needy students, resident in Muthiyankaddu area as incentives on Thursday (28) after gathering them at MuthiyankaddukulamTamil Mixed School.

Major General Manjula Karunarathne, GOC 64 Division as the Chief Guest participated in the event and distributed those packs. This programme was actively coordinated by Major General Ajith Pallawala, Chief of Staff at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS).

Religious dignitaries, parents, teachers and representatives of those donors attended the occasion and joined the distribution with Officers.
