460 More Persons Confirmed Positive to COVID-19 in the Past 24 Hour - NOCPCO

As of this morning (28), a total of 460 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 35 Sri Lankan expatriates and 425 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 62 from Ratnapura district, 59 from Jaffna district, 51 from Gampaha District and 253 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (28), a total of 82,889 persons, inclusive of 79,244 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 78,372 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 4,053 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 748 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. No deaths have been reported during past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country remains as 464 by this morning (28).

As of this morning (28), 9,667 persons in 96 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (27) 12,632 PCR tests have been conducted. bridge media | GOLF NIKE SHOES
