The certificate award ceremony of the Civil Security Officers Training Course, conducted at Kalaoya Training School for Non Commissioned Officers of the Army, took place on Friday (12) at the school premises.
46 Civil Security Officers successfully completed the two-month long training course which covered subjects such as physical training exercises. Leadership training, Teaching Modules, Warfare Tactics and Strategies, Internal Security Roles, Map Reading, Explosives and Booby Traps, Signal Systems, Moral Values, Civil Law, Social Growth, etc.
The certificate awarding ceremony was attended by Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris, Director General, Civil Security Department, Brigadier K.D.C.P.J Thilakaratne, Commandant, Kalaoya Training School for Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Army, Colonel K.M.W. Bandara, Commanding Officer, NCOs Training School and several other senior officers of the Civil Security Department.
