31st Director Staff Duties Takes Office

Brigadier Chandana Wijesundera, the new Director Staff Duties (DSD) took office on Friday (2) during a simple ceremony at his office.

The new Director at first performed religious observances soon after he entered the new office before he left his signature for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office.

A few minutes later, he spoke to Officers and Other Rankers and set out his vision for duties in the new Directorate. A simple tea arrangement culminated the day’s programme.
