Taking a lead, the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) organized a training camp for Mullaittivu volleyball players on Saturday (9) at Oddusudan Maha Vidyalaya premises. 310 male and female volleyball players, including instructors, sports teachers and trainers of several schools and local sports clubs on being informed of the proposed project voluntarily attended the camp where Army trainers assisted and coached them giving instructions and guidelines for a superb game.
On the directions of Major General Dushyantha Rajaguru, Commander, Security Forces-Mullaittivu (SF-MLT), 642 Brigade troops of the 64 Division, commanded by Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera, General Officer Commanding, 64 Division gave the lead in organizing the entire training camp where participants were provided with meals and refreshments throughout the day.
