With the objective of promoting self confidence and co-existence among officers and other ranks serving Units, Brigades and Divisions under the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), an Elle playing tournament was organized with the participation of 42 teams, selected from Army personnel serving under the SFHQ - MLT.
The finals between 11 Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) and 25 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) teams were held at the SFHQ - MLT ground on Monday (21). Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ - MLT graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
25 SLNG team emerged victorious and carried away the SF Challenge Trophy. Major General Dias as the Chief Guest presented the trophy and certificates to the winners.
